The QuickGuides System at San Francisco State University is a web-based information repository for housing large numbers of scalable, dynamic, procedural documents. Please read the short briefs below to find out what the QuickGuides system can do for you and to get started.
The QuickGuides System holds step by step tutorials for all kinds of procedures related to San Francisco State University, specifically regarding technologies available at SF State.
To get started searching for a QuickGuide, use the search tools in the left navigation or visit the Search Page.
To request an account on QuickGuides, please contact the QuickGuides Team. Administrative functions of QuickGuides include:
- Ability to easily create new QuickGuides, and add and remove steps.
- Ability to hide QuickGuides from the public until they are ready for publication.
- Approval processes to ensure that all information is vetted before being made live.
- Reuse of granular data allowing for consistency and easily updatable data across multiple guides.
